An important automotive supplier is doing 100% inline inspection using O3D systems and software.
An important tier 2 automotive supplier in the Montreal area continues to improve quality assurance by doing 100% inline inspection. The automotive supplier has recently inaugurated an additional instrument panel production line equiped with a Robogauge inline inspection cell. The Skeye 6M300 with its large 8"x12" field of view has proven to be well suited for the 3D scanning of such a large part.
The Robobauge system inspects for presence/absence of components as well as for overall geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
O3D is proud to make such total quality solution possible with its highly accurate and extremely fast 3D data acquisition scanners and with its automatic 3D features detection and analysis software.

Aerospace leader continues to improve its productivity and inline process with RoboGauge
Today O3D proudly delivers another RoboGauge system to Pratt & Whitney Canada to be integrated as an inline process and quality control cell in their Longueuil, Québec plant.
The Pratt & Whitney Longueuil team now has a three year history of successfully integrating O3D products into their manufacturing systems. Morever, the team has been recognized by their parent company, United Technologies, with the "Pioneer of our future" award for its innovation in improving productivity and product quality control with RoboGauge based inspection cells.

A brand new place of business for O3D
In order to maintain its growth, O3D is moving back to Laval into a more spacious business place. The new address will be effective as of June 4th, 2007.
