Fly is a high performance 3D data acquisition and processing software library. It allows easy integration of powerful 3D functionalities into custom application specific solutions using C/C++ or Visual Basic .NET.

The Fly functionnalities includes:

Control of the O3D scanners for real-time acquisition of high precision and density 3D data (Scans)
Calibration of multi-axis positioning systems (six axis robot, gantry, etc) for accurate multi-pose acquisition.
Fast, accurate and fully automated localization of 2D and 3D geometric features (spheres, cylinders, planes, holes, slots, etc...)
Interactive 3D display that can be incorporated into a custom application window with a single function call
Built in support for third party interfacing such as Polyworks (Innovmetric)
Save scans to disk in proprietary compressed format or export to other standard format
