Our mission
“Our mission is to design, develop and manufacture real-time 3D vision systems for the worldwide market place.”

Our strategic offer
O3D is a company dedicated to one thing: bringing 3D scanning systems down on the factory floor. By combining expertise in machine vision library development, machine vision applications development and 3D scanners development, O3D provides the manufacturing sector with a new alternative: doing 100% inspection on manufactured parts without being the bottleneck for the production.

Strong multidisciplinary team

Totaling many decades of experience in integration of complexe vision system and in worldwide vision software deployment, the founding members acknowledged the long anticipated maturity of technologies in different fields that would allow the realization of highly accurate, robust and real time 3D vision systems.

Stéphane Baldo, M.Sc.
President
sbaldo@orus3d.com
Stéphane has spent 8 years at the head of the MIL software development team at Matrox. This industry leading software (Matrox Imaging Library) contains highly optimized algorithm for pattern matching, geometrical model finding, blob analysis and edge finding. Under its control, Matrox's software has become one of the leading machine vision library in the world, and is now used by more than 10,000 developers on the planet.

Djamel Meddah, Ph.D.
Vice-President Systems & Applications
dmeddah@orus3d.com
Djamel has worked at Matrox for 6 years. As team leader Djamel has been mostly involved in maximizing the performance of the software and designing applications for customers by using and improving the Matrox Imaging software technology.

Christian Simon, M.Sc B.Ing.
Vice-President Research & Development
csimon@orus3d.com
Christian has has worked at Matrox for 8 years. As team leader for many of the key modules of the MIL library, Christian has a deep understanding of the algorithm used in each module and knows how to optimize algorithm using the full power of the PC architecture.
